How does an LS400 handle/feel?
Hey guys,
I've been on the lookout for an LS400, I wanna buy one. They seem like very good value for money cars but I would like to know how these cars feel. Are they sluggish and sloppy in the corners, or do they respond well in these sorts of situations? Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Hey Python, after a few thousand miles they will get softer and you may find yourself wanting to stiffen them up a little. It's funny I was one of those people that was nervous about the ride quality of the megans, but after starting out really soft and after toying around a little I have found that they ride better set a little stiffer.
The reason for that is the spring is overpowering the strut and it has very little control over rebound, so when you are on the freeway for example and hit a small bump followed by a small dip or miltiple small bumps it would tend to throw the car up slightly on the bump and rebound hard on the dip. Licelsior have you played with the settings at all? You should mess around with it a little stiffer setting, you may be surprised how it turns out as I was.
