Default painting over the two tone paint

Hey,

I own an sc400, but am thinking about possibly getting a LS400 (not because I like it more but because theres alot of them here for cheap :P)

Anyways, I was wondering how hard/how much it would cost, to paint over the bottom half of the ugly two tone paint.

http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...&ac_afflt=none

Link to a car Im likely gonna go look at, the top half TOTTALY clashes with the bottom. Also, I assume that if I were to buy a body kit, that that would take care of the front and back bumpers right? But how much would it cost to match the paint and paint over the two tone. That car would be insanely dope if it was just all around black.......

Thanx 4 the help

Jason

the body shop I use all the time quoted me $1300.00 since they have to remove all of the parts and replace the hundred or so clips with new ones.

If you paint on the car figure about $900.00

I would take a closer look at that ls400, first of all those are not the stock wheels ( they do look like sc400 wheels though), 2nd Those colors dont look like any factory two tone ive seen. Most of the black cars have a darker grey color on the bottom that realy matches the black much better than that light grey. That car could have some accident history following it. And even that picture almost *anything* in front of a dumpster will look a little better than it normaly would look.

Yes, those arent stock rims, nor the stock color configuration.

Check up that car, and beware of a car with no repair history.
