Default thoughts on aftermarket oem Air struts?

was wanting to know your thoughts on aftermarket OEM air struts

all i seem to find as far as that goes is Bilstien's i know they are a good company as i had a set of HD's on my civic and liked the ride

but a honda is differ from a lexus

i guess what i am trying to get at is are their air struts good over OEM struts?

as far as pricing goes front pair goes for about 600 + shipping ditto for the rear's

but the OEM struts i see on ebay go for 80 -180 a piece plus shipping mileage range from 90K-110K but thats what they say and i cant see if they are pulling my leg or not.

i did search but all i came up with were for spring/shock combo's

your thoughts, comments or criticism is appreciated.

i would go with megan coilover, because its pretty much same in the price range. and megan you have the wole dampening adjustment, and height adjustment.
unless you want to go with air suspension.

bilstein "air struts"?

what exactly do you mean by that? iirc Bilstein only makes the HD series for the LS, and even those are only for the 2nd gen (95-00) series LS400 anyways and won't work on your first gen.

i bought a pair of air struts from arnott industries several years ago for 798 (not sure if they've come down in price). they have worked fine all this time. I think i got refunded $100 after i sent them the cores. not positive. they do come with a lifetime warranty. i looked on their website and saw mention of bilsteins, but i do not know if that is what i got. the quote i got from the dealer for new OEM air struts was about one grand apiece (which is why i started looking for alternatives). i believe arnott is the market leader for non-OEM struts for lexus. my struts may have been remans? whatever they are, they work great. i drive a first gen LS400.

yes, this is the company i was talking about. take a look at their website and read up on their history. they have carved out quite a niche market. dealers hate them.
