i have noticed a slight lack in performance the past few months, as well as minor reduction in gas mileage. Also, i have noticed that if i'm driving at lets say 45mph for example, and need to get in the gas for whatever reason, i can see black smoke coming from my exhaust as i press the gas down further then normal. Looks like it's running rich.

It's supposed to be warm this weekend, so i'm going to pull the plugs and check them out. I just replaced the air filter 5 months ago, it appears to still be in great shape. No cracks i can find in the intake hose. Only a few thousand miles on a fresh M1 oil change.

any suggestions?
