Hi guys! I am new here and seems like you guys all have your LS fixed up. If it is ok with you please E-Mail me or post some pics of your car so I can have some ideas how to improve my LS. It's great to find a place where everyone loves the LS.

That is a sweet sound system, and you got some awesome wheels to go with it.
How smooth is the ride on those 20"s compared to the stock wheels?

I have 245-35-20 tires, and tell you the truth the ride is terrible, and I have to drive slow, avoid as many pot holes as possible. Also have to worry about when my tires are going to pop(it's pretty thin) and as you can see in my website, I don't have a spare tire. So if one of my tire pop, I'll need a tow truck. I had 18's with 245-40-18 before these dubs and the ride was a little bit better. And with those 20's......0-60 in 20 sec. and 15 mpg...

Hi kenjitsou, welcome to the Club! These are a great bunch of guys and gals here! BTW, your ride is very nice!

I can't believe your car is 0-60 in 20 sec! Did the rolling diameter increase by much with the 20's? I've found that even 18's are kinda rough riding. I've got 235/35x18 front and 275/40x18 rear on my MBZ and they don't ride very well. When the tread is gone, I'm going to search for a better riding tire (SP800's now).

Since I got the LS400 (mines a '93 too) for it's smoothness I'd like to stay with the 16's. Furthermore, I'd like to stay with the stock ride height. Unfortunately no one seems to make sway bars for this car. I've found that thicker sway bars make a huge improvement in handling. I've got much stiffer ones on the Tahoe with stock springs and aftermarket shocks and the truck flat out HANDLES now. My ideal setup on the LS would be much thicker sway bars, stock springs, low pressure aftermarket shocks, and high performance 16" tires.

Anyone got a source for high performance sway bars?
