i have a problem with my car since i bought it say if i try to keep it at 55 mph my pedal will kick back at me and lose speed but, if i push the gas harder like around 70 80 it wont do it... i replaced the tps.. what could it be.

The throttle cable is connected to a winding spring, but I doubt the spring all of the sudden got stronger. I'm sure now how it's kicking back. How strong is the resistance of the pedal at 55mph?

strong enough that it pushs the petal back at me to the point i gotta push down on the pedal to pcik back up speed it feels like the gas is getting cut off

Actually I should have asked, what year is your car? I dont know if the older LS400s use electronic drive by throttle cables like the newer LS400s.

never heard of this before...

any audible noise? maybe brakes arent aligned and are rubbing?

new brakes installed new everything i had engine light on i had it diagnosed had the tps replaced and still no difference

Total throttle body cleaning? I would also do a fuel injection treatment...these 2 items seem to cure everything!

i have this same problem but sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't when i was driving the other day around 55-60 mph i gave it some gas and it cut out like it wasn't getting any gas then i let off and got on it again and it was fine it does the same thing everytime

thats what mine is doing i think its something that needs to be replaced i could try cleaning everything out first

well i have a check engine light on and they said i have a knock sensor thats bad i wonder if that's what's causing it?
