Default connecting 2 wires !!! how?!

Recently i had connected my ground cut wires in main DRL relay to enable DRL in my LS400 2000 model, in this way; see picture below.

After exactly ten days of this am always having starting problem where car clicks only sometimes without engine crank or start.
Do you guys think this is related my starting issue or not & Why?
Please do advice me to the correct way in order to prevent this circuiting.

Not related. If anything on the open wires, you should have soldered and used heat shrink wrap, or bare minimum electric tape.

WOW that's a nasty wiring job.

solder+heatshrink is the best way to connect wires imho.
