Hey JCW, no offence intended at you in particular, but you know yourself, anything picked up for $500 is basically a make work project. Just sayin. Btw, register at lexus.com and they'll send you a free manual!

Flashing? Maybe you're mistaking it for the Traction control light. You did say you were driving in snow right?

I have a 1995 Lexus sc400 when I have ac on and then hit the off button my car will shut off but will start right back up??

Haven't heard that one before but many strange gremlins can arise. Have you tried to read any error codes?

Flashing OD off light can indicate ecu problem(leaking capacitors). If your transmission shifts fine at all times and nothing seems to be wrong, it can be your ecu. Happened to me. Try pulling ecu code, for me I could not, which indicates ecu problem. I got very lucky and got used ecu on craigslist for $50. Problem went away
