Headlights just went out....?
Headlights/Fogs/Corners went out. Tail and Brake lights work. Turn Signals work.
Both L&R 15A Fuses are good. Got another relay (Junkyard) and still the same.
These were all fine..... Parked it, ran a session in the studio, came back out and fired her up.... no headlights.
No 'indicator' on the dash.....
As I said, I grabbed another relay and have the same thing.
Checked wiring at the fuse box and all contacts are as they should be.
Can't locate anything looking like a short between fuse box and headlights.
With relay in I don't even get the High Beam indicator.....
Here's the kicker.... If I remove the relay and jumper the connections, I get headlights/fogs.... can turn fogs on and off, but headlights stay on even with key out and switch off....
When jumpered I can toggle High Beams, and I also get the High beam on the dash, and can toggle fogs. When not jumpered I don't even get the High Beam indicator, and fogs don't come on either....
Any Ideas?
Switch has got to work, cause when it's jumpered it functions for all but turning off headlights. (I'll go see if I can get the wheel off and inspect the switch)
?????????????????????????????????????
Lil help? For the time bein I can just throw the jumper in for night driving and remove when shuttin her down, but dang.... another wrench in the gears that's gonna slow me from getting to body work..... grrrrrrr
ANY ideas much appreciated. I can't friggin tell what's up, I don't have a manual, not even an owners manual, don't have wiring diagrams so I can test circuits, and I don't know which leads coming into the fuse box are from the switch.
Also, I unscrewed and removed/cleaned/re-seated the 'rectangular' plugs.
????????
I can't get a new relay for over a week. Special order..... Otherwise I'd just grab one to test this.

My bad, crazy weekend, didn't have time to respond.
Still waiting on internet at the new place. Fiber Optic! Yezzir!
Anyway, it was a broken connection. I also found 4 more and fixed them all.
A crimp and some solder and heatshrink and all is well.
All lights working.
One Q....
1991 LS400 (1st gen? I don't know)
Do you guys have to have your headlights on to get your foglights on?
