Technical Manual
Hi All,
I am a new member to this Forum and this is my first posting. I am the original owner of a 1994 LS400. I have my Lexus for 14 years and I love it. I just have the car completely restored on the body. It looks like brandnew but my car has the cluster problem exactly like some of you had posted the solutions for. The dealer wanted to charge over $2,000 for it. I am planning to fix the cluster dash board myself following the suggestions as some of you had posted, but don't know how to take off the dash without damaging it. Someone mentioned that the manual has 3 books. Can someone please tell me how or where to get these manuals? Or simply a link to the section on the Cluster?
Thanks for your help.

A web search may turn up some electronics rework tutorial sites that might be sufficient if you're a quick study and mechanically inclined.

Thanks for all your help, especially to LiCelsior, hobojoe and dkinzer. You guys are wonderful. Your information is very much appreciated. My Lexus has the power problem ["dead" guages until warmed up].
I will give it a try to fix the capacitors. Wish you all a very happy and joyful Holidays, all the best for the new year 2009. Cheers!
