from what i've heard.. the coilovers fit the 90-2000LS models, on most websites it says 95-2000, but they will also work on the 1LS.. if anything, you shouldn't have a problem with them since they'll work on the 98 flawlessly, but on a first gen LS, i've heard about them not going extremely low
anyone wanna correct me if i'm wrong?

yes.
search next time please, this has been answered far too many times
FarQuad, you have it backwards:
1st gen suspension will work on 2nd gen cars since the 1st gen has a SHORTER strut length than the 2nd gen, so when you put shocks/coils made for a 1g on a 2g, the car will sit a LOT lower than normal. conversely, when you put 2g shocks on a 1g, you stress it since the shock spends too much time compressed out of spec, and will consequently blow much faster (this is the reason that Megans, which were prototyped one a 1LS, fit both 1 and 2gen LS', but Tein CS, which were prototyped on a 2nd gen, will ONLY fit the 2nd gen)

heh, from what i've heard (not confirmed) the 2 tanabe spring part no.s are actually pretty much the same.
hard to say unless you have both sets to compare along with spring rates.
i would venture a guess to say that it wouldn't be very kind to the OEM shocks though.
now if you wanted to cheap out and get low, you could try to get some tokico's and H&R for a 1st gen and put them in to your 2nd gen for ~1" extra free lowering or the like.....

That would be sweet. hahahah
I think I'm going to save my money for my next LS. If I lower it I'd want to do it right.
Maybe in a year or two I'll get an 05 LS and lower that bad boy haha
