OOOOOHHHHH SO THE ICV IS THE TPS??????? That's all you needed to say! hahahaha!

Wouldn't it be harmful to spray brake cleaner on a sensitive electronic piece like that?

interesting. I may try to turn my IPS (adjust it) this weekend to see if i can bring my idle up some. RIght now at a stop with the AC off, i idle too low for my taste. I'll report back and see if this helped anything.

Actually the TPS is the TPS. The IACV is not shown in that picture. But if you follow the fat black hose to the right of the TPS it connects to the IACV.

Some people have removed the IACV and sprayed cleaner in it. One actually posted on another fourm that he took it apart to clean it with idle returning to normal range of 650 to 750 rpm.

You need to drain some coolant out if you plan to remove the valve. I would buy a new gasket to replace the old one also.
