Default Full Exhaust, True Dual setup

So the day has finally arrived, I got full exhaust!

2.25" piping, 2x 25" Thrush Magnum resonators, 2x Muffs I already had.

It's in a "True Dual" type of setup right now, my X-pipe is getting here today, and will be cut in tonight or tomorrow.

I have to admit though, my MPG have INCREASED drastically with it in true dual. I am at 300 miles and 1/8th over 1/4 tank. Normally I would be under 1/4. And that with a lot more aggressive driving habits. I hope it stays that way when I get the X-pipe installed!

Let me know what you think!

Can you feel a difference without/with the glasspacks installed as far as engine feel goes?

I'm thinking of deleting the center resonators and running 2 Magnaflows in place of the rear mufflers and I'm keeping the stock Y-pipe since Cali has pretty-**** like emissions laws.

Do you have you airbox chopped out? Its really all I think I can hear, Might just be my laptop speakers tho. Should sound great with the x pipe. Always takes out the twin system clap.

Got any pics of the rear end?

Very cool!! Nice work.

That's been my experience as well. In my previous 540 exhaust and ecu chip made a significant improvement to mpg. Can't wait to do exhaust on my LS.

Thanks guys. And no, no airbox mod just a K&N filter, but my engine is really noisy, I think maybe it's my accessory belt making so much noise???

The X-Pipe quieted it down A LOT more, it still sounds awesome, just doesn't have that "truck" noise.

and yes still great mileage. I love it! Now my lead foot driving is getting the same mileage as driving like a grandpa! lol.
