i did a search on it, but i couldnt quite find the answer to my problem. when i turn the a/c on or any other accessories function, this kinda whinning noise comes on. when i shut everything off, the noise is gone. my 96 has 125K miles on it. any ideas? i'm about to do the timing belt/water pump and more soon so i wanted to know so i could do everything at once

sounds like a/c whine...compressor might be going soon.

damn!! arent those expensive to fix? you think they go early at 125K miles?? is it close to the timing belt or anything like that, so it could be done at the same time of the timing belt??
