Default For those who love old reviews.

I stumbled upon this old long term test wrap up from motor trend. I thought you guys might find it interesting.

One thing though... did 1st gens really accelerate to 60 in 8.7? sounds a bit slow...

3650lbs! Thats like a new camry v6!

Hey thats why I love this site! I own a 96 LS400 so the reading was definitely worth the read. Thanx! I'm 36 so it's not old.

for the 90-92s that was the case, the 93-94 got a myriad amount of revisions including a little more pep, I believe their 0-60 was around 7.9

...Aside from a brief affair with a 4th gen Taurus I've been driving an LS since I was 16.

It never even crossed my mind they were old man cars. I've been salivating over the thought of SCing mine for a year plus now, still waiting on finances to right themselves.

Yeah the average owners age is up there. Most of the older fellas would not consider doing what many of us have done to ours.
