Default brake caliper bleeder screw size

I just replaced my bleeder valves on my Land Cruiser with speedy bleeders. Really cool bleeder screws that have a check valve in them http://www.speedbleeder.com/

I have really noticed a huge improvement in braking performance when i keep my brake fluid fresh. It likes to get real hot especially in the summer months and loses it's effectiveness.

Anyways, i would like to also replace the bleeders in the LS with these so i can easily flush out the old brake fluid.

Does anyone know the thread pitch and bolt size for the stock LS bleeders?

Thanks.

Should be the same as the LX you have , try swapping one out to make sure.

OK, i will give it a shot. I still have one caliper on the bench with one speed bleeder on the bench waiting. I'll check it out this weekend and post back up.

sorry for the late response to this thread.

With some snow, ice, rain, cold as..... and no garage, well, this project was on hold.

Went out today to rotate my tires. I had an extra set of bleeder valves from my Land Cruiser that i kept to test on the LS after i swapped the Cruiser bleeder valves to speedybleeder valves.

The bleeder valve that fit all four calipers on the cruiser only fit the front calipers on the LS.

Front two caliper speed bleeder part number is: SB1010 M10x1.0

Now i didn't have an extra valve from my land cruisers LSPV, but it appeared to be the same size as the rear two brake calipers on the LS. If that is the case then the rear bleeder valves are: SB7100S M7 x 1.0

Hope this helps anyone else out there wanting to change out the bleeder valves so you can now bleed your brakes alone.

Bump for new/valid info. I contacted Speedbleeders to confirm which ones we needed for the ucf20 chassis since it was not listed on their site.

Fronts: SB1010
Rears: SB7100 not to be confused with the SB7100S which is a different length.

On their website it says to email or call them for models not listed. Can you call them and post the results here?

For applications not listed call 888 879 7016 or

e-mail your request at speedbleeder@earthlink.net
