Default How to tell what month of manufacture

Gday,

Went to register my Dads celsior and the lady at the road deparment asked me what year model the car is, so no worries I tell her 1990, then she asked what month. annnd i didnt know, went out to the car to have a look and cant find a build date anywhere. I assume it must be part of the chassis code or simular but I cant seem to work out a patern to the numbers to find a date. Does anyone know where I could find this information??

Thanks heaps guys.

On the data plate (sticker) inside the driver's door, amongst the codes are one that says, "MDH" and then some numbers. It means "manufacture date and hour." So, if is says, MDH 92121, that means it was built on September 21 at 2100 (9:00 p.m.) hours.

MFG date tells you what month and year, it was built, MDH tells you the rest.
