Default Anyone topped out their car? 150 mph?

Just curious if anyone has gone as fast as our cars supposedly go.

If you have:

1) How fast did it go?
2) How did it handle? Floaty or planted?
3) Will my 99 LS really do 150 mph?

Rather than start another new thread, I suggest that you refer back to one of the past adolescent "How fast have you gone" threads ... like this one: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...light=How+fast

You can find them by doing a search.

1) didn't top out but went to 110 for a second
2) very smooth
3) your 99 LS should do 150. Even the 1st gens should be able to do 150.

The 98-00 LS400s are governed at 159MPH. Without the governer it could probably do 165MPH maybe 169-170MPH if you were VERY lucky.

Ive heard 159 comes quick though, and if you search some more, people claim the car to be very stable at those speeds. Topping out really isnt my thing.

I've gotten up to 120mph. But dumbass Les Schwab can't balance wheels so I slowed back down to speed!

Ha Ha LOL that is a good one - Although I went 135 in mine "once" I would not do it again. It is not worth the chance of death (pysically or financially)

Now I am lucky to break 85 MPH
