OEM Window Tint: Gray vs. Green?
Greetings all,
I'm brand new to Club Lexus and after a quick search, I can't find an answer to my question. My 1996 LS400 was broken into and the front passenger glass was smashed. Nothing was taken and because the damage is below $500, I'm hoping to DIY and not go through insurance. After calling numerous salvage yards across the country, I found an inexpensive replacement that they would actually ship to me in Boston, MA (most wouldn't ship for obvious reasons). My question is this:
My OEM glass is tinted gray (not aftermarket) but the replacement I've found (also from a 1996 LS) is tinted green/bronze. Is there a noticeable (aka obvious) difference if I installed the green tinted glass on my LS, which is otherwise gray tint all around?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Thanks for the responses. The guy at the salvage yard said "green/bronze" over the phone as if they were the same thing, so I just went with it. But I'm pretty sure it's officially just green.
The OEM tint in my glass is gray, and I'm looking into replacing a broken window with OEM glass that is tinted green. No aftermarket tint involved. Bad idea?
