Was visiting the Autohauz site for a different parts need & saw the following.

Bilstein Part # L4000-103923 for 1989-1994 LS Models.
Went to the Bilstein site & see no evidence whatsover of a 1st gen. product.

I write the Autohauz guys to double check & get this response:

" Thank you for submitting your parts request. We do carry front Billstein shock absorbers for the 05/1989 through 09/1994 Lexus LS400 without electronic pneumatic suspension. The part number on our website is
L4000-103923 and your cost would be $115.76 per shock".

I believe Pure Drifter to be correct.

Oddly enough I do believe that Bilstein does now have a Air Suspension product for the UCF-10 model LS-400.

those arent made by bilstein, they are using their own remanufactured air bellows and universal/modified bilstein shocks.
