Default Gas Tank Pressure

So when I go to the station and pump in some premium, I noticed when I unscrew the gas cap, a lot of pressure is released. I read on lexls about this:

http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/maint...capgasket.html

I was just wondering if a lot of pressure like this is bad in any way and if anyone actually replace their gas caps.

yea the pressurization is good for the tank, like PK said. usually the gasket gets worn out so u can just replace that if u notice a not so air-tight fitting.
