I just broke 90K miles on my 99 LS and for the past few days ive been hearing a noise comming from the rear of the car. It happens if I back up, put the car in drive real quick, then give the car some gas. I can only hear it when my windows are down though. I could sware the front does it too, but I cant be positive. On speed bumps I hear nothing either, what could be the issue? Springs maybe?

Oh and Im not confusing it with the clacking of the brakes.

check the trans mount, it makes weird noises

Still need a bit more info, as the possibilities can be endless at this point.

It could be the transmission mount as the noise doesnt occur over bumps but what is wierd is that itll sometimes be under hard braking, recoil of the car and when I shift from R to D. It only happens at low speeds.

Very strange stuff.
