Hello it been a very long time and thank you all for the help with my audio install but i now have problems with the battery and my amp to my subs is draining my battery and im wondering if there are anyways to stop it or get a 2nd battery somehow? suggestions welcome,what have other ls owners done? 2nd i have 163,456 mles on my 90 ls and i know your supose to change timing and water pump around 160,000.........i do not know what previous owner did should i play it safe and get it done?how much will it cost?Again suggestions welcome,thank you all for your ls know how.

kenwood 1000 watt amp with 2 1200 watt kenwood and a kenwood head unit ran staight off batteryi figured it couldnt be that bad but it realy drains my battery

yea you at least need a 1 farad capacitor or i recommend 2 farad just to be on the safe side. since your battery is being drain new yellow top or blue top. you should be golden

Like others said. Get a Cap, get one that shows Votage, this way you know how your car is doing when you blast the system. This will help your batt, and you alternator!
