tryin to do a simple oil change on my 93 ls400. and i cant get the damn bolt off the oil pan. this is my first time with this car. im goin the right way? im mad at myself....

Turn it counter-clockwise from your perspective under the car looking up at the bolt. Is it stripped?

Rightie tightie - leftie loosie - kidding - Pure is right WD40 or liquid wrench - and if you don't have a breaker bar a hollow pipe works well.

We use PB Blaster. Spray it around the plug and let it soak in for a while. Use a long 3/8 drive breaker bar with the correct size socket. Can't remember what it is right now, but in the high teens mm. Gently bump the breaker bar with the palm of your hand. It will come loose. Brute force will only damage the plug and the pan.

now i cant get the damn oil filter off. LOL. this is sad. which way guys?

Get an oil-filter wrench (the bigger one in Walmart) which has a hole (3/8") for the breaker bar.
