My license is out of wack for another 3 weeks, but I was dying to go for a drive in my car. So with my girl behind the wheel we took her out of the garage, which it has been sitting in for the last 3 month. Boy it felt good.
Went to Saratoga springs, but ended up staying in Lake George, got a killer deal on the suite.
Got 27.1 Mpg average for the whole trip, from start to finish. Could have made it on one tank, but at 450 miles and a quarter left, I filled it up again. I am sure I could have done 500 +.

One thing, small town, Black car with dark Tints, and cops look at you weird.

Weather was good on sat, close to 60F.

Car eats up miles easy. I would drive to California, but I am not sure I will last the drive. PLus I would need a new Music collection, 3 weeks off work etc.

Im gonna head up to Canada in a month or so, once it gets warmer, stretch some legs a little. I figure a 1400 mile drive should do it.
THrow in new engine mounts, Ball Joints and new front tires and I am off!!!

NICE, what tint % do you have and how many miles so far??

NY to CA is one hell of a road trip, not that I've done it personally, but if I had to leave tomorrow I would for sure take the LS.

I've driven my LS from Houston to Key West, the mountains in the Carolina's and all places in between. Even though I have done some extensive modifications to the suspension, it is still a very comfortable road car on long trips. The best part is at 209,000 (now) it drives just like it did when it was new - one of the best cars out there
