Here is a picture of what halos look like on our LS...but I sware that it doesn't do it any justice. I used the AACS rings in my Lincoln LS and they were almost a xenon purple color. These are 6000K color and will match my fogs and HIDs very nicely. So when I wire up my fogs to run on my parking lights, the halos will come on as well.
With that said...

Those lights look awesome. -- How much do they run? And do they come with the lense? Or would I have to purchase a clear lense separate?
Sorting out how much this mod would cost from A to Z. These retro european lights with a modern touch are making these cars look much better. I think it would be an excellent upgrade for a first gen to give it some style points in the 21st century.

this is a very sharp looking modification. i checked what these sell for (via google) and found the AAC site. looks like they're $219 for a set.
some questions which you can hopefully answer when installed:
- is installation for a lay-person reasonable?
- does it look awkward having the angel eyes and DRLs on at the same time? on the '98s, DRLs were not standard... but I have a '99. (brings up the possibility of disabling DRLs via fuse, but that would also limit usage of the high-beam)
- how are the lights activated?.. via the fog-light toggle?... the fogs don't come on unless the xenons are on...
- which color temperature is most complementary to the car's current light setup? 4300k is probably closest to the OEM HID.. but the angel eyes are also available in 6k, 8k, and 10k.. which i'd chart as the progression from icy-blue to almost purple.
thanks..

AND
Just to clarify, these are just rings only. The headlights do not come with the rings...I wish. I'll have to heat the lenses up in the oven 250 for 15min, open them, stick the halos in, put the lights back together in the oven for 15 then clamp them together with vice grips and let them sit for like half an hour, or until the glue sticks again.
Only issues is...what am I going to do with the halos when I sell my car?!?
