1998 LS400 number of airbags standard?
Oops I put 1998 in the title, I meant a 1999.
I am looking to buy a 1999 LS400 and the ad says that it has 6 air bags. Does that mean 4 front and 2 in the rear?
It that standard?

There are four air bags on the U.S. spec 98-00 LS400 - 1 in the steering wheel, one on the dash for the front seat passenger and one on the outboard side of each front seat.
1998 was the first year for front side air bags for U.S. models. 1997 was the first year for some markets outside the U.S.
I've seen rear side air bags listed as being available on the 98-00 LS but I have assumed that this was either an error or that the rear side air bags were available only outside the U.S.
