Default Yellow vs White fog lights

hey all,

Pretty much what the title says. Any pictures? Any opinions? The picture in my head looks pretty nice, but i'd like to see it for real.

-David

P.S. on an 99 LS400.

I prefer yellow fog lights! It looks more stylish and stands out from other cars. I would take pics of my car but I recently sold my camera and plus one of my headlight bulbs went out today, bummer

The yellows look great on the UCF20, PK.

I liked the yellow bulbs on my friends '92, he had them aimed just slightly above stock height and they were awesome.

I'm currently running silverstars all around to keep the uniform look, but might consider going yellow after seeing this thread.

White HID fogs on my car. Not a perfect match to the blue OE bulbs. I'm surprised they're still working.

yellow HIDS are basically your typical 4300K or 5000K bulb that is made with a yellow glass instead of a clear glass.

yellow halogen bulbs, like the popular noyka 2500K bulbs are just tinted halogens.

i was doing some browsing the net and ran across these.

http://www.eautoworks.com/product-Luminics-113772.htm

or

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUPER...spagenameZWDVW

the first set from eautoworks.com says it is a 2500k yellow but nothing about HIDs. isn't it only HIDs that use that K scale to classify the brightness?

and the 2nd set from ebay says they are HIDs but it looks like they are just replacement bulbs, because to my understanding, if you had HIDs, you'd need a ballast?

correct me if i'm wrong...

thanks
