Default SIlverstar busted, need new fogs.

I've got one of THREE options on new Foglights.

1. I could go 6000K HIDs

2. Find Hyper Yellow 9004 Bulbs

3. Silverstar Ultra Fogs.

Which should I choose?

is a 3000K HID a yellow HID? At least thats what I would think.

If so, I'll pick them up

I never knew they made made anything lower than 4300K!

How is the 3K yellow HID comparing to stock yellow bulbs? Color wise? Is it just as yellow, more yellow, or less yellow?

not as deep a yellow.

and TJW, you need 9006 bulbs for the fogs, not 9004

Those look pretty cool. I went out and bought some bulbs that are similar to PIAA. Nyko? or something? 24.99?

Well they are the same coloe as the headlights and these will tie me over till I decided to get out and work on my car again. We sorta keep dealing with this kind of weather...

Heres what the bulbs look like - Crappy yes, but it is cold as hell outside and my hands were frozen after changing the lights. Ill get more later tonight. I DO have HIDs, but the picture makes them look white.

I like them both -- The white on white and the white/yellow mix. Adding the yellow gives the car more character. White/White looks nice, smooth, expensive -- But is like so many others.

I know the 'yellow' was in in the early 90's, and went out.. But I believe its coming back. I like it,.. lights need more color to them. Some designs are becoming almost too bland with clearing everything out, and making the resulting lights just as clear.

Looks good though !

The light would end up looking very similar to how it does with halogen foglight bulbs, but a good deal brighter.
