Generic pole the motorized units will come from OE cars when you can find them.
I plan to install an LED at the base because the headlight really doesn’t light it that well. I’ve had an old one on my Cressida and it’s just carried over. Surprisingly it does help in those tight spots.

Is bigger rotors purely a function of stopping power and looks or is it related to wheel size also?

Well,
6 months after i bought the car, I started chasing down electrical gremlins and the source of a leaky sunroof. I removed the interior side panels from the driverside and realized that the car was involved in a MAJOR broad side collision. Most of the driverside was cut out and replaced. I was crushed. I'm pretty good at noticing signs of body damage like a repaint. I alway check for overspray on body trim due to poor tape lines. The body shop must have removed all the trim for paint. I did notice the painted door hinge bolts but only after I got it home. The repair was well hidden. I drove the car for 4.5 years with no problems but the damages started to surface. The driver door stopped closing flush and developed wind noise. The panel gap between the driver fender and door began to increase. The sunroof would not seat properly when closed. I said screw it and pulled the perfectly running 130k motor and trans from her and scrapped the body. The motor will be swapped into my second MX83 cressida swap this spring.
I went though the new LS with a fine tooth comb before I closed the deal this time.

Dave looking good.
Yotarip sorry for your loss. She was hot the color and wheel combo perfect. What are they, size and tire specs?
