Definitely not a fan of spacers, I'd rather get different set of rims

I think the wheels I have are somewhat practical, no rubbing at all even if its all the way down

WTB: EUROLINE CHROME CENTER CAPS!!!

Thanks for all the comments guys

Hey all, fairly new member here. I picked up my '93 LS400 about two weeks ago. As I'm sure you'll be able to tell from the pictures, it needs some work LOL. I've got some rims on it - Forte F8 Spike in 20x8.5 +35, with 245/35-20 Tires all the way around. The car may look a little lowered, but that's only because the factory air suspension is pretty much blown out, haha. Anyway, here are the pics:

Sorry about the so-so quality of the pictures, they were taken with my cell phone, lol.

None taken. She's definitely a fixer-upper. I've got a laundry list of things that need to be done to her, that's for sure. She'll get there in no time, though.

Seems like it hasn't been taken care of very well for a long time

As long as you have the stamina to complete it, and like it. Go for it! Black on black is a nice combination

another hint: try to find some nice seats or OEM skins from a wrecked LS400, will save you a lot of cash and you can have a decent interior again with some effort

(Joe is just trying to sell his wheels , those Euroline's would look absolutely legit on your car btw)

Yeah, I'm definitely going to see this one through to the end. She'll be cherry once more by the time I'm done with her. She really wasn't that bad of a deal. I bought her for $1,700, then put about $900 into her for new front and rear brake pads and rotors, new spark plugs, having the mechanic drain all fluids and replace with new, and getting her smogged. Oh, and I got the rims off of ebay for $450 shipped, and got the tires local for $550 including having them fix the inside of the rear fenders so that the new tires wouldn't rub.

Apparently the reason the check engine light is on is because the engine is burning some oil. Not a whole lot, but enough to cause a CEL, and for the car to blow out a huge cloud of smoke every time it's started. Once she's up and running she's fine, though. The mechanic thinks it's either the valve cover gaskets, or... worst-case scenario would be the piston rings. He did say, though, that when he was replacing the spark plugs two of the plug tubes had some oil in them that he cleaned out. I'm not sure if that indicates at all where the leak could be... but, in any case, that's where she sits right now.

Thanks for the tip. I've been scouring ebay and craigslist for seats, but haven't seen anything that's caught my eye yet. I'll see something sooner or later, though, I'm sure.

the oil is probably the power steering idle up valve.

How would I check that? My power steering and high pressure line ARE both leaking, BTW, if that makes any difference.

blkvip, did you fill the holes in on your trunk where the Lexus logo was on the left side?
