STILLLL waiting for my springs to 'settle'...hoping they will drop and get rid of that fender gap Been 2 weeks (1500 miles) on my new KYB GR-2 struts and Tanabe DF210 and there's still a hideous 3 finger gap up front. Maybe I should have gotten coils or bigger rubber (235/40/18) haha.
DF210's should be good for a 1.75- 2 inch drop. Give it some time the gap will slowly diminish. My question is how does she ride?
I notice a slight drop compared to other LS's in my area (around 1 inch) so hopefully it will go down even lower to maybe a 2 finger gap in the future. TIME TO TAKE A ROAD TRIP!
She rides amazing, what I would guess an LS should feel like from the factory ; still very plush but also firm at the same time.
Thanks man. Nope, i didn't cut any bump stops, but I bought them used from a member on here and they had about 10k miles on springs and struts. That being said, they were good and settled when I installed them. You have an extremely clean ride!
