Hi PD

Please tell me what type of air and toe specs you ran to achieve that even tire wear.

Ive never seen such even wear , ESP at -3.5 deg camber

I really like looking at all the neat photos of your LS's and wish I had $$ to play with myself.... you guys have some really nice looking rides....
BUT, I turn 78 in june, and have not had any income since 96, so I look at your photos and enjoy them as long as I can...
these are my wifes and my rides, simple but still LS's

Hey billy, keep in mind even though these cars are aesthetically pleasing the ride quality has definitely been compromised. Also consider the premature tire wear, more frequent alignment adjustments, scraping issues etc...at your age I am actually surprised you would show interest in the visual appeal vs the comfort that these flagships provide. On a side note I hope some $$$ comes your way soon, as I am interested to see the outcome of your modifications . Glad you are a member of our community .

Yeah what he said. That seems too good to be true considering your camber settings. Teach us.

I did wait a little too long to change them so the inside of one tire started to show thread a little, but that was my own fault, and not bad considering i had taken them drag racing for ****s and giggles to throw the last few hundred miles off them. that was done @ static camber as well.

nitto nt555 in 245/35-20 stretched on a 10.5" wheel
~0* toe (may have been like .05" in, i forget)
~ -3.3-3.5* camber
~38-45 PSI depending on what i was doing. (cold)

monitor inner tire wear and flip when starting to really smooth out the inside.

that was my last pair, for this past pair i actually lost both tires due to pothole/road hazard impacts .

^ oic, you had to flip the tires ..

yeah, I hate the potential problems of "on and offs" with tires. My rims always get a knick or scratch from the tire machines. So I like to minimize tampering with them. plus, I'm too lazy to flip tires every time..haha

flipping the tires is a crucial aspect of getting the max wear out of them.

I use a tire shop i trust to handle it and they've never let me down, but worse case even if they did nick the lip, $50-80 of rash repair is worth saving a $150+ tire...
