lol, i don't care about it looking perfect, i want it to ride SMOOTH, i care about the ride more than the looks. The ride feels ROUGHER with the 17's, I had stock 15's with thick tires, and putting on those 17's changed the feel of the ride. I am currently fixing my A/C, but once that's done, then the next thing I want to do is change all the struts/springs. Is it possible to lower it and have it ride smooth as stock? My goal is to have it smooth as new or better.

I am right there with you buddy! And with all my research and what I have heard here the Tanabe springs DF210 and KYB is the best drop for the most OEM ride. It is rather low though at 1.8" front and 1.3" back. I think I am ok with the drop hight and may even enjoy being so low. I used to only want the 1" drop but I bought these and now only deciding on the shocks and struts!

i currently have those tanabes and kybs and they are still stiffer than oem. i mean im sure not as stiff ast h&r with tokicos but really not as soft ast oem kus i just bought my second LS a while ago and it was all oem and it was very boatlike. but it changed a bit when i threw on the tanabes and kybs. i would love it if they could b as stiff as h&r but i really could not do just a 1 inch drop. i think my car isnt low enough on tanabes. im gonna look into coils or air.

if you use lower springs with the same springrate as OEM then it will be bottoming out constantly, ANY lowering spring you use will be stiffer than stock.
