Default 98-00 Fog Light Removal....

I'm trying to remove my foglights for my '98 LS as there is some strange residue on the plastic that I'm trying to grind off....how do you remove the entire fog light housing?

Thanks!!

Once you remove that screw (close to the front tires), do you just yank the plastic pieces out? Does the top come out firs then the bottom? Side to side??

Take out the visible screw on the side, then stick a flathead, cover with a paper towel or something soft, and pry the side piece out. Then you'll see the other screw holding the actual fog light in.

^ that's a good idea, I already scratched one of my fogs with a rogue flat head.

i believe that the screw on the fasia of the fog light dosen't do much. it does not hold the fog light in.

it does. but it does so IN ADDITION to the plastic clips.

not a good idea to not have the screws in there, i wouldnt trust my $$y fogs to just a plastic clip.
