Default My 2ls shakedown ride....800 plus miles

Well I replaced the power steering high pressure line on Monday morning and off I went, 376 mile ride to Roanoke, Virginia from Pennsuken, N.J..
Well first I'll have to say what a smooth ride, never really got uncomfortable at all, everything worked great and I found out, it seems to me, that what ever the heat setting and direction you have it on when you shut off the heat it blows that temp/direction if you leave it on outside air.If it seamed to hot I turned on the controls set the heat and shut it of and thats what blew out. Tried it colder and it got chilly then set the heat higher and it was great. Not like any other car I've ever owned were what ever the temp. was outside is what you got. Has anybody else noticed this feature or am I crazy
Also I believe I got great gas mileage imo, was at 418 when i filled up down there, ride plus local running around and not empty yet, and so far im at 400 with 1/4 tank left on the ride home with about a treck of 11 miles that took an hour. Little bit of a difference on the return but who cares, I love it as my truck would have needed 4 fill ups on the same ride.
And lastly I asked this before with not much reply. when I parked my car it seems to raise itself, most cars i know fail low but not this one. Once I got in and turned the car on it settled to a lower ride hieght. Any ideas from anyone on this matter would be great.

for real Roanoke has the cheapest Gasoline in the whole valley so it behooves everyone to fill up there.
answering your question.....do you have air suspension?...you can see the settings switch near the shifter floorplate....should say "Sport" and "Normal".....? maybe thats the suspension chillen when the cars off?

well lets just say I stayed on the main roads and we'll leave it at that....
as far as the air suspension my settings are norm and high, switch is right above the the ect switch that has norm and pwr options. I keep the suspension on norm and when i switch to high the lite on the dash comes on.
The suspension seems to settle down when I turn the vehicle on but why does it go high when parked and off?
