Just out of curiosity what is S/D ? -- Also I've noticed my front rotors are slightly warped themselves.. What is the general consensus on rotor and pad combo to make a 'rotor' the most resistant to warp in these cars?

I don't mind 'less' brake performance or shorter pad life for longer rotor life. I cannot stand warped rotors, and I don't hammer my brakes at all. This is one of the major downfalls of automatics to me, .. I've always had 5 speeds and never warped rotors because of my down shift and light brake combination.

buy solid brembo blanks and use OEM or like-quality (Hawk, Akebono, etc..) pads.

Good to know -- I'll be replacing these rotors as soon as they are out of spec, unless solid brembo blanks aren't that expensive..

Thanks

Wow those prices are good. I can get OE style for 80 something bucks + shipping for 4 rotors.. Cross drilled with pads for under 250.

These things are good? They going out of business?

my setup was specifically for those trying to avoid warpage.

its a proven fact that cross drilled and slotted rotors do crack/warp easier than blanks.

OEM are a ceramic compound.

and are the best "bang for the buck" you can get. u can get the OEM pads for a good price most of the time.
