Default replaced strut bars/bushings...still have knock

title pretty much says it all.

I had the strut bars and strut bar bushings replaced on my 2000 LS, but I am still getting an annoying knock out of the front-end over small, sharp bumps, more noticeably at lower speeds. Anyone got any ideas?

I have very similar noise in my 99 LS...just had all new shocks put on.
Mechanic says its not ball joints or bushings (he thinks), but i'm thinking maybe ball joints at this point.

thanks, y'all...I appreciate the help.

I sure wish I knew for certain what exactly is the problem. I hate to keep throwing money at it.

let us know what it turns out to be...I'm about to take mine back for about the fourth time. The noise has gotten a little more elusive....it happens the slower you go over a speed bump; 1 clunk as the tire hits the bump, then another clunk as the car passes over it and settles again.

Is there no chance it could be coming from upper strut mount or bump stop?
