As I look in the thread of wheel setups some mention spacers but not if they used longer studs.
Are the longer studs a standard change with the spacers or not depending on thickness.
I found a nice set of 20s today that just rub the caliper and with a 3/8" to a 1/2" spacer would work great. The wheels use a tapered nut and was wondering what to do.
If there is a thread i missed explaining this could someone please direct me and thanks in advance for the help.

look in the wheel tire forum, generally any spacer longer than 5mm you want to use extended lug nuts.

yes true that. i bought some 20s for my car. i got 15mm spacers for my car than switch them to 10mm. i have the 15mm just chillin with only 100 miles on them. but i have the studs on my car. i only have the studs left over from the 10mm. if your interested. Im pretty sure you can buy studs anywhere for cheap. but usually anything thats bigger than 5mm needs new studs. i believe anything beyond 20mm is a different setup.

you could get the bolt on spacers that have an additional set of studs like this:

Thanks for the info so far but if I go with the spacers up front I'll have to get a set for the rear also unless I get wider rear rims with different offset as it just wont look right correct. And PK do you have them in the rear also.

dude if you get spacers for the front, get them for the rear also... it would look awfully retarded...

im going to pick up spacers for the rear too havent had time yet. i was thinkin about 5mm since its not that bad in the back. but we will see i want to measure everything correctly. im going to drop my car some more and get everything to tuck.

To me it would make perfect sence to get them in the rear also but I dont here much mention of it because of staggard wheels. And would they definately be the same size for the rear also?

with my ls400 its weird haha. im not sure if its with any other ls400. but it seems like i dont need much in the back to stick it out. i believe 10mm would be to much and 5mm would be perfect. but im still messing around with it. because with my isx50 wheels. the back stuck out more than the front and it look really funny. i saw the older ls400 with the isx50 and they sit flush. so im not sure whats up with that haha

you'll want to measure your front and rear and determine how much further out you want them. i like mine so it barely misses the fender, you might not want it that extreme. you'll need different sizes for front and rear becuase of hte difference in front and rear hub distances from the fender since you don't have staggered wheels.
