Driving normally down the road after going to the bank, I cross an intersection going 35. As soon as I cleared the 4 lanes a brown lab and what looked like a sheltie come running out across the road right in front of me! Not panicking, I hit the brakes very firmly. I came to a complete stop within feet of the canines. There life was spared I believe because of my observant behavior behind the wheel and the fact that the front rotors and calipers on these cars are big and they grab very good with no fade.

I am very impressed with this car. It is bigger and heavier than my old KA7 (Acura Legend), but it is faster and stops better. I think Toyota has a +1 on Honda, personally, when it comes to family vehicles.
