Default UCF20 Pre-m/c factory touchscreen!?

Go to 1:31 in this video. It appears to be an ultra-luxury pre-m/c LS400. I knew about the rear controls, but this car also has what appears to be a factory-installed touchscreen radio/climate unit! See for yourself! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vkx8uOfHiA

Where was this available? Any LHD countries with this? I think it'd make a neat retrofit.

factory navi was available in japan starting with the 95 model year.

it was also never officially exported anywhere else outside japan, though some gray market cars prolly ended up in NZ, AUS, and the UK.

I see. It's too bad that it's a full-on navigation unit because that implies a different wiring harness and an overall labor and dollar-intensive install. It was just a crazy idea anyway.

even if you could fit it and it worked , would you really want to be driving around with a little Japanese girl to translate it for you? lol

Maybe not a Japanese girl...but how about the girl in the movie Tokyo Drift...

Now Id be fine with THAT

I thought I saw a 1994 LS400 with some type of factory navigation system in it...Could it have been an extensive swap??
