Couple of fixes for my 95 LS
First. I noticed that my LS seemed less responsive than my parents 96 LS. Not really in power delivery, but in throttle response.
I decided to adjust the throttle linkage. Mine had a significant amount of slack in the cable. After a quick adjustment at the throttle body the slack was gone and the car now feels just as responsive as the 96.
Second. My Idle Up Control Valve was having issues. I researched the problem and did the quick fix.
I was seeing 400rpm in gear. Obviously the IUCV was not opening.
I bypassed the valve and now I have a perfect idle while in gear.
So two quick DIY fixes that make the car drive much better.
best,
Dustin
