Default Ls400 parts crossreference with Camery

I have a 1995 LS400 and I was told that alot of the parts on the Toyota Camery are interchangeable. I need to troubleshoot the cruse control system and would like to use Toyota parts. Is there any crossreference info available.

no, they dont.

small stuff like random gaskets and bits like that MAYBE (doubtful) but nothing else will really be interchangeable.

unless u got lost and have an ES.

oh, and toyota never made a "camery"

There are few, if any, parts that cross over. The person with whom you spoke most likely had the LS confused with the ES, which is mechanically similar to the Camry.

The LS, especially the first gen (89-94) was built completely from the ground up on its' ownplatform. As PD said, maybe a few gaskets, but NOTHING else. The ES has alot of parts which will cross referene, not the LS.

PD quit picking on the boy for spelling errors. LOL!!!!

I love how everyone around here thinks my car is a camry or an avalon. It takes my V8 Power to prove them otherwise.

And then it's like "Well what in tarnations is under dah hood of dat jap-crap"

A Dual Over-head Cam, 4 litre V8. Produces almost 300 horsepower...that's more than your Ford...dumbass.

But NO, nothing will transfer from the camry...maybe a couple buttons, or a steering wheel or wheels, or something simple like that.

Only young, non-mountain people appreciate my car in KY, which isn't too bad. But if it's not a civic who revs at me...it's a diesel pick-up truck.

did you talk to someone and they downplayed your LS, saying ti was nothing more than a glorified camry? they usually try to do that....
i come back by saying that if you can find me a rwd, v8 camry, i'll agree with you. our cars have more in common with the nascar camry than any street camry ever made!

Wow a V8 Celica - talk about a sleeper! I remember a guy got in my LS years ago and said - this is nice - what is it a Camry? Some folks just don't know cars at all
