Cool LS Commercials & Articles

I'm trying to gather LS (all years) related information for my site. What I have so far is here: http://www.lexls.com/info

I'm looking for links to articles, LS commercials or anything so if you have a link please post! I know there was an LS in at least one movie too but I can't remember which one.

Mack (played by Kevin Kline) was rescued by tow truck driver Simon (played by Danny Glover) when his LS400 broke down in a rough part of LA late at night in the 1991 film "Grand Canyon": http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101969/

The LS400 is shown briefly in the opening scene of the trailer: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101969/...lay-E23249-314

It's a darned good movie but it didn't make me feel good seeing an LS400 break down on the screen having bought a new one a year earlier. All my friends who saw the film needled me about it.

i heard about that movie. That LS didnt have the right start up sound. All the 1uz-fe i've ever heard have a nice distinctive high pitch start up.

but i'm get'n geeky. woops.

there were 1st gen ls400 ads on youtube, but they got taken down for some reason.

I'm pretty sure there's a UCF10 LS in Casino Royale if anyone wants to find it and make a clip of it. Made me really happy to see the car in that movie.

Shaft, with Samuel Jackson and Busta Rhymes. Peoples Hernandez (drug dealer) has a ucf10 in this movie and also has the Lexus truck. Damn shame what happened to them tho.

Haha, yep, I posted it in another thread that we had a few months back about our cars on TV shows or music videos.

if someone could dig up that thread, it would be sweet.

Wow, LS's have been in a LOT more video than I realized! Thanks for all the links so far I think Anger Management is the one I was thinking of where it falls from a parking garage or something (good link Jasbmo).

If you guys remember season 5 of "24", when Wayne Palmer was trying to get to the president. He was driving a UCF30 and then got ambushed, but they used a UCF20 in the crash scene. Just thought I might add that.

Awesome website, LexLS!!! I've visited it often.

There are some LS commercials which I found here:
http://www.clublexus.com/forums/show...6&postcount=2\

ThePassionatePursuit.com found this 1LS ad:

http://thepassionatepursuit.com/2007...y-in-the-bank/

There are more 1LS ads out there IIRC.
