Default Steering Creaks

Well, after two days of driving my LS since I bought it, I've been noticing creaking when I turn the wheel. It's only noticeable at low speeds or when at a stand-still and I turn the wheels.

I also hear some whinning, and I know thats the Power Steering, but the creaking seems different.

Any ideas?

May need to change the fluid out? I assume the level is full now. I noticed mine was whining a little bit this AM when I started it and was observing the engine bay, but it stopped after the engine warmed.

I have no idea about the creaking.

Mine just started this today too... Hoping it is not a control arm bushing, or ball joint, mine only makes the creaking noise while I am moving slowly and turning to the right and the suspension is moving up and down. I would check the suspension out.. make sure all is well.

The whine is the PS.. let the car sit for a while..overnite is best. then fill the the PS fluid... I found that mine was all full of bubbles right after I shut off the car the level was good but it was 50% air. After a few hrs the air came out of the fluid, then filled it. no more noise now... I know its leaking but it is slow.. and I suspect the rack, or a line is the culprit the air may have been sucked in thru that line too.
