Does anyone have any pictures of your modified exhaust from straight on/side/underneath?

I am looking at getting tips for my 92 LS after removing the rear mufflers, and am lookin for some ideas... most likely 4" tips, but not totally sure.

Any input would be GREAT! thanks!

hehehe its all chopped out, both sides connect to two unstamped juntion produce mufflers, I love it too death it sounds and breaths like a demon.

I'm not a huge fan of how big they are... but there is a sc4 around town here with what looks like the exact same setup... he blew by me the other day and it sounded MMEEAANNNNN !!!

I am interested in some ideas for tips too.

I may just end up settling for the tips that come with the Magnaflow 14829 (very popular with the SC guys).

I can guarantee that an LS400 will sound like crap with straight piping. I had straight pipes for a day with my old SC400 and it sounded like a stock-car, as in NASCAR.

Straight pipes sound great on the inside of the car, at idle, and at RPM's over 4k.

Between 1.5-4k it sounds like total ***, when driving.

The reason it's like this is because I'm awaiting a good deal on some nice 5x8 Magnaflow mufflers. I don't feel like paying $120+ per muffler.

I did muffler delete and pipes with resonator tips and it sound great and after 2000 RPM's very quite.

are those s2000 tips?? if not, what size are they and where did you get them... I like them a lot!
