2nd installment: My LS mpg on $25 super-unleaded.
My last results were a combination of around 60 miles driven highway out of a total 201 miles traveled. That leaves close to 141 +- a few miles driven city, which gave me 24.5 mpg. This time I pumped 8.652 gallons to reach the $25 level. Miles on the odo--->167, ALL driven in the city, absolutely no highway driving. To my calculator estimate that gives me 19.302 mpg , and I still have over an 8th of a tank left so the numbers will keep rising. This car has a V-8 and is getting better gas mileage than my old 91' Acura Legend LS that weighed less and had a 3.2 V-6.
All I can say is that before I bought this Lex my mom had severe doubts as to me getting it because it had a V-8. She thought it would suffer in the mpg because of the bigger engine. I guess she'll have to eat her words now.

Sanpete makes a good point above, unless you weren't clear in your original post. To get an accurate mpg measure, youi should fill the tank without topping off, and reset the odometer. Then next time you visit the gas station, record the odometer reading, fill up the tank (without topping off), take the # gallons you added and divide by the odometer reading. Then reset the odometer and repeat next time.
