First Lexus Purchase - 1999 LS 400
Hi Everyone
Keen to buy my first Lexus - 1999 LS400 with 12,000 miles. during next 2 weeks.-from reputable Lexus Dealer in UK.
Read Chas.Fenwick probs.with PAS. - on same model.
If anyone has one of these (or 2000)- I would welcome info.on problems - of any sort that you may have had - from tiny - upwards!

Have now checked it out - WOW!
Not my first choice paint job 'Fjord Mist' but rest is as it rolled off the line! Dealer reluctant to flush entire tranny - but I dont pay
him till the 25th - so he did! Pads too + tracker - what a nice man!

1999 LS400
Think prices much higher here in UK. New (called ) LS 430 is
$72K + - same as new LS 400 was.
Dealer asking $44K - about $4K over book - because mileage.
Agreed price $38K (told him I hated colour!!)
Dealer probably paid $33K unseen.Received from Merc' dealer
previous evening - me there at 0830hrs.
Spoke to previous owner - all good news - but said all four
alloys started to corrode after 2 years - and thats why four
new wheels are fitted! Was surprised to hear this!
