Default Lights on and the car looses battery power

SO the car looses battery power when I use the lights. Then I have to jump start it. During morning when I use the vehicle everything is fine, but when I
use it at nights when the lights are on I seem to loose battery power. I know
its not the battery I'm think its the alternator. Anyone have an idea what could be the problem? I have a 90 LS400

sounds like the alternator is dying and is unable to recharge the battery fast enough while the lights draw power.

What Pure said...any autostore should be able to give your battery and alternator a test...I think Autozone can hook up to your system and check how many amps are being put out....

Yeah, take it in for a battery/alt test as a starting point.
