That looks like a nice wheel. It really depends on what you are looking to do with your car though bro. I am conservative and drive my car daily. I have 18" staggered rims with real wide tires. Although I could run 20's I chose 18's for cost, bent rims with our roads, etc.

Some guys here run 20's and like them. It depends on your driving habits, roads, the look you want, etc. I would say to look at the photo gallery in case you haven't already. Look at this thread to see examples:

As for tires I am in Houston so I cannot help you there - I have Nitto 555's and like them.

i'm planning on getting those wheels in 18 inch, and is their a purpose for having wide tires? and are they more expensive tires? or do they just look good on your car? i would like some thick *** tires :-)

another question, what are wheel spacers? and what are they for? thanks

Wide tires give better grip and more noise (usually). Other than that they look better IMO. I have 18's on mine. In the back I run 285/40's and in the front I run 245/40's. It is called a staggered setup. I cannot rotate my tires but I am fine with it since I like the way it looks. Most guys run 245's all the way around.

Wheel spacers are installed between the hub/rotor and the wheel. They push the wheel out toward the fender to make the track wider. If you buy the wheel with the correct offset you won't need them. I do not need them since my tires tuck into the fender with maybe 1/8" to spare.

Again though, it depends on the look you are trying to achieve. Wheels totally make the car IMO. Maybe you can get pics of your wheel on a LS?

Good choice - you'll like the staggered look - you could always buy spacers for the rear to move them closer to the fender. Post some pics bro so we can all enjoy them. You may decide to polish your calipers or paint them since they will be out there with those wheels. The front especially look nice polished or painted.

for tires i would get a summer tire for the nice new wheels and get a winter tire for your stock wheels. since you're in canada, i'm sure you need a true snow tire, not an all season junk tire. you don't want to run high performance summer tires in the snow. you'll get about6 inches and you'll be stuck.
take off the nice wheels for winter and use them only for spring summer and fall. the tires will last longer and the wheels wo9n't get damaged from winter roads.
